I bought these on ebay and they were supposed to only have a 1000 miles on them. When they showed up, 2 of them were missing the top ring above the o-ring that goes up into the fuel rail. (circled in the pic) What I need to know is if these can be relaced. I was told by someone else that they had to be pressed on and should not be removable. I definitely know I can't run them as-is, because that ring is what keeps the o-ring from popping off up into the fuel rail and causing a massive fuel leak. By the way, they are Fuel Injector Clinic 550's. Should I just send them back and try and get a refund? Anyone that can give me some more info about them and what I should do would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

It depends how you look at it. You can buy a complete seal kit from FIC and it will replace all the seals. Maybe see if the guy will refund you that amount. If worse comes to worse, you could always send the injectors to FIC and have them put on, although I'm almost certain they just slide on. My Densos did.

It's tough to buy injectors and know the exact mileage. I have a set of 550s that have probably 50k miles on them but I could pass them off as having 5k. That's why I recommend always replacing the o-rings/seals.
