im looking for a cheap 02 dump for my 14b till i get all my parts to finish up my 3575 install. Anyone know what happened to punishment racing? are they still around? if so u guys got a link? i searched and cant find anything.

The site should be back up shortly, punishment racing as a company went through some major ownership issues, which is somewhat common in this business. I left the shop early last spring, but bought out my former partner about a month ago and I am in the process of re-launching the site, and remodeling a new shop. If you have any questions or need anything you can pm me here, or email at [email protected].

Despite the reviews on DSMTALK, you cant argue that the punishment racing O2 housing gets the job done at an affordable price. I've had mine for over a year and a half, and it's still in one piece and I've had no problems with it. Hopefully they come back bigger and even better.........there's never enough reliable dsm shops out there.....

well punishment racing is officially back, bigger shop, better equipment and much much higher level of quality. I'm working on the new website now hopefully it should be finished up soon. if ya wanna know what's new, what happened and all that good stuff email me at [email protected]

Its nice to see Punishment back again, I've always been fond of such quality products at such affordable prices, and even cheeper prices for us do it your selfers w/ welders. Hope to see lots of new and improved products soon!

I've had a Punishment O2 for about a year and a half and I have had zero problems with it. When i first got it i thought the welds look horrible and wouldn't hold up, but even though it is not pretty it has stood up to the beatings perfectly.

im glad to hear they are back...to be honest i havent gotten a dp because i was looking for a cheap/nice piece...and with the dp and dump o2 housings from punishment being reborn its gonna be great...let us know when the website and shopping carts are available...because im in the need for a dp and dumped o2.:)

thanks for the comments fella's it's been a long road back. I think people will be surprised with the new quality of welds, I've spent the last year as a union welder (aerospace & machinists) and taking fabrication/motorsports classes, ill be the first to admit my welds in the past were kinda ugly LOL but that wont be an issue anymore. the site is up now and should have some content in a week or so. if you have any questions you can email me direct at [email protected]

While I'm in the process of developing a new product line, what parts would you guys like to see built, and what parts seem to be tough to find either due to being long wait times or often being back ordered?

well some of the nt guys in europe are always looking for a header

It seems like if you want to go with an external wastegate setup now-a-days, people are more likely to do it off of the manifold because its easier to find a manifold setup like that than an O2 housing set up like that. It would be nice to have more options out there as far as ext. wg on O2 sensor housings go. Besides having an O2 housing with an ext. wg mounted and dumped, a housing that would re-route into itself would be pretty nifty also:sneaky:. Going from personal experience, once I explained to my smog guy the way my external wg was setup, he had no problem passing me because I thought to have it rerouted back into itself instead of dumping out :D .

a nice cheap turboback would be great. also dont forget about us 1g fwd guys, it seems that most companies make all the stuff for 1g awd, 2gs get all the love awd and fwd. and they leave us 1g fwd behind. show us some love punishment.

what,??

WHAT???

m yet to find a reasonably priced 3 " catback,a turboback would be great.. but a catback would do the job to..best with a 3" flange to bolt op to a testpipe or 3" cat.

Thanks for the suggestions fella's keep em coming. At this point I'm focusing more on underhood type parts like header's, a whole range of o2 housing's, downpipes, maybe a smaller aluminum radiator to free up some space, that sort of thing. But I'm willing to look into whatever seem's to be lacking in the market. Either way thanks again for the feedback :thumb:

The website is finally up with some pictures and the shopping carts working. More pics should be added over the next few days. I'm stoked to be back at it again, and appreciate the emails and calls I've gotten over the last few weeks, I wasnt sure what the reaction would be when I started this back, up but it's been awesome.

the smaller radiator is a good idea.. when i got my aluminum radiator i had no idea that it would nbe so thick, making me have to spend extra dollars on new fans

again, the 1g nt guys want a header too

A whole line of o2 housings would be great. I'd like to have a SS 2.5'' Internal Dump o2 for a good price. Also, it'd be cool to have an o2 housing for ex. wastegates that is dumped back in

I've got more o2 housings added to the site now, the pic for the recirculated stainless housing should be up this weekend. The na headers are under consideration, I haven't gotten alot of feedback for them yet so it's a back burner project at the moment.

How about some nice turbo manifolds, or some hard intercooler piping, it would be nice to have a nice sterdy tube to bring those exhaust gasses that are being externally gated off the manifold down to near the o2 housing. Also what about metal rad. pipes that are fashioned after stock 1G, and 2Gs, as well as custom ones for those people running tubular headers.

The header is in the works now going through testing. I have a couple different designs ranging from a fairly straight forward bolt on designed for street driven cars to a full out custom drag only header that will be built to match the cars setup when I'm happy with the results from testing I'll have them up on the site

Wish my car was up and running, cause I would drive there and get one to test it out for you:thumb:

Hey thanks for the offer, you'd be surprised how few dsmer's there are my area it can actually be a pain finding people to help in testing. Luckily I always have two younger brothers who get to be my official "product testing/see if you can break it" department and trust me they try to break it LOL
