I was think of doing a tune up on my car since I just got it and don't know much about how it was taken care of.
I was wondering what kind of sparkplugs are best to use in a GSX I also want to change the wires?

Thanks

BPR6ES is good if stock to lightly modded.
BPR7ES is one range colder and goo if have alot of mods.

Magnecor are good wires as are the NGK and MSD ones.

Yes that is what is recommended by the NGK tech from the digest.

but isnt there like 2 things, if you run higher boost you should be gapped differently then lower boost.. like for my T25 setup I was supposed to be where Im at now, for my new setup I should be gapped differently?

Has anybody tried irdium plugs. I was asking because thats what was in my tsi. I just changed them to ngk's because they had some miles on them.

I believe some people have had the tips break off and most have seen no gain by them. NGK's are the stable and work the best on out cars.

The idea comes when you are running higher boost you need less plug gap so you have less of a chance of blowing the spark out. If you run an upgraded ignition system (ie MSD DIS-2 or upgraded coils) then you can run a bigger gap and get more power that way. Lower boost can run .3 to .32 depending.

I've seen dyno's where they made about 30hp by switching to irdiums on a turbo car that made 650 or so hp. You think this is bs or what?

That's true. All the regular people I seen that got them for a street car did not have any real gain for what they cost.
