solenoid restrictor was not restricting hehe

well i took out the little plastic lining from the solenoid and got in my car took it out for a little spin and on my boost gauge it shows the stock 14 psi i have always been getting since i have practically bought the car i was told this mod was restricting at least 1-2 psi but threw every gear it just stops and holds at 14 psi so if any of you have any ideas they would be greatly apreciated ... the only thing i can think of is my stock bov could be shot and just leak the extra 1-2 psi thats wat im thinking at least who knows?????????

thats it i was runnnign 13 PSI afte i took that out then got a 1 g and was running like 16-17 get a 1g BOV

you'll ruin your turbo if you are running 14 still on the stock bov...they pretty much all leak any boost over 12 psi and your turbo just keeps spinning faster and faster to try and hold the boost level you tell it to even though the air is leaking out past the bov, overspeeding the turbo (will give a short life and severely heat the boost it does make, which is bad for both power and knock).
