brand new t3/t4 conv. boost question

I just installed a new t3/t4 a/r .48 stage 1 and even if I turn up my boost conroller it seems like my tial bleeds off at about 8-10 pounds. Anyone know whats up with that?:confused:
 
do you have the vac line connected to the upper or lower line on the external?

With a manual boost controller you do NOT use the top connection on the external, only the lower connection.
