Hey guys, the other day, I went and ran the car hard in a parking lot doin doughnuts in the snow, i had my lights off so that no cops would see me, however, i did not notice that the car over heated and was in the red. I dont know how long it was there, but as soon as i noticed it I pulled over, turned off the car opened the hood, and turned my fan on(manual switch). Well, now its been a few days, and I'v filled my coolant twice. (never had problems with it b4) I dont notice any white smoke in my exhaust or anything, and i dont have any coolant on the ground under the car. What the heck is goin on here. Did I blow the head gasket or anything?? please help!

I wouldn't think you've blown a head gasket or turbo and you say you don't observe white smoke. Just make sure and check your Upper and Lower radiator hoses, thermostat housing, radiator drain #@%#@%#@%#@%, and water pump gasket. If nothing is found then I would get a dye test done to pinpoint the problem spot.

A buddy of mine and I did the manual switch. I only run the fan on the passenger side, so what we did was find the wire down by the fan, splice it, run a wire to the battery, a ground, and one to the switch, i forget what guage all this is, but it was pretty high. Then I just mounted the switch in the car(next to the steering wheel) and waalaa. manual fan. Its awesome. By the way I hope thats the correct way we did the wiring. It was quite a while ago.
Back to the coolant. yeah I hope it isnt a blown head. If it were how much $ to get a new or rebuilt one. ?
