what mods should I do next?

I got a few bucks back in taxes this year and Im going to drop a few in my TSi. This is what I have on my car:

550s
AFPR
255 pump
SAFC
Evo III 16g
EBC
2G MAF
GReddy Type S BOV
Boost gauge


This is what I was planning to get with the tax cash:

--FMIC
--3" exhuast turbo back
--Different throttle body (not sure what yet) becuase mine is craping out on me anyway probably a 1g n/t so I dont have to mess with a 2G elbow
--Bigger injectors?

What do you guys think? Any other comment and/or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
 
You didn't mention it, but what about a logger? The new turbo back exhaust and fmic are a very good choice to spend your money on. 550's could be upgraded but you probably won't be maxing them out yet, so maybe keep them for abit & put the money towards something else. What about the ic pipes, have these been upgraded or will they get upgraded with a fmic kit? Maybe think about a wideband to help you tune as they have recently come down alot in price. If your looking for some more power cams are always a good way to go. A clutch might also be worth looking at if your still rocking the stock one.
 
I am using MMCD to log with, the IC pipes will come with the FMIC. Im still pretty new to all this so I just wanted to make sure that I am not overlooking something that everyone thats been in it awhile would just assume as a normal upgrade.
 
You should go with exhaust, Pushing more air through the turbo but still running stock exhaust is probably holding you back some power.

Its def. holding back quite a bit of power actually. Next investment you should look at is a Logger so you will know what is going on in the engine. Also what about a drivetrain upgrade? Clutch/Flywheel...LSD?? :)

I have a palm logger. As far as the drivetrain I am trying to put aside a little money each month to get a shepard transmission. I dont plan on getting crazy with the boost or going all out at the track until I have a good portion of the new tranny money saved up.
 
MMMM Shepard...Wish I had the money to fork over to get mine :( How much are Shepard 2g FWD's going for these days? 1000?
 
Shep trannys start at $900 and go all the way to $5800 if your made of cash :) Once I get $1000 saved up I will put a bit more stress on my tranny so if it does give I have the money saved to redo it.

Good choices :thumb: You'll notice some nice gains from the better flowing fmic & exhaust, especially if you are turning up the boost as well with the new mods.
