hey what's up, i just got the ssautochrome o2 dump off of ebay. i plan on putting it on tomorrow morning. any feedback someone could give me would be awesome. i just wanna know if its gonna bolt up clean and good. im using it on my 1g tsi awd. stock downpipe and stock 14b are on it right now. any advice or info would be awesome. thanks :thumb:

Mine was fine except 2 bolt holes where the flange mounts to the turbine housing did not line up. Took out the good old porting bits, enlarged part of the holes and it bolted up fine.

I have the recirced O2 and mine mounted perfectly to my 3" downpipe; no drilling or milling whatsoever. With the stock downpipe you might have to knock a couple of dents into the O2 housing where it mates to the downpipe to be able to get a wrench in there to tighten the bolts.

If you need some more help check out the thread all about these housings:

I helped a buddy put one on his talon and it went on pretty easy. We actually ended up taking it off to put on my car but found out that the 02 senor bung basically destroyed itself due to the heat and locked the 02 sensor in the housing. I ended up getting it out just the other day after beating the crap out of it but the threads are gone now. Should be able to get another bung welded in. Welds have held up good though, a lot better than I would have thought that they would. Not a bad piece for the price.

high temp anti seize is your friend.

1: Test fit it
2: Grind holes where it doesn't fit perfect
3: Bolt it on using anti-seize
4: Enjoy your flow and that funky noise!!

Good luck.

well thanks for the all the insight from everyone. i put it on today...man was it a PIA. nothing would line up right for me and then mmy exhaust manifold was being a B****. but other than the 5 hours it took to put it in (everything possible went wrong :notgood: , but no broken studs thank god :thumb: ) now thats it on, it sounds ballsy as hell. except for the beautiful smell of pb blaster all over my exhaust manifold, i love it, pulls hard once its dumping too. or at least i feall a bit of a difference. now ive just got to put my fuel pump in and get my s=afc2 tuned :p

Did anyone have any problems getting the stock o2 housing off? Did you take the turbo out w/ o2 and manifold or do it while still attached in car?

Mine stocker is being a biatch, bolts are rounding off !

when i started i thought it would be a cinch....until the exhaust manifold was a bi*** i had to keep moving the turbo out and out which started bending the lines a bit which is why i think i had crappy fitment issues to begin with. wtf is the point of having a heat shield on the power steering pump? LOL when i put everything back together i kind of thru that in the garbage ### it was a PITA. and then my intercooler pipes were being a B**** and not lining up and my intake wasn't fitting right where it used to be....i almost cried yesterday LOL trying to get that in. but now its on and its all good and i think it was all worth it.

oh yeah and your lucky you had a dremel, i had to electric drills with half the battery power left in each one :notgood: it sucked

oh yeah and since putting the o2 dump in, i've noticed a way more consistent boost pressure. i have it set at 13, but sometimes it will sit at around 15-16. when i first started beating on my caar, it fealt a bit slower for some reason and i saw on my boost gauge it was right at 13 just about all the time. so now its time to up the boost and get it tuned :thumb: can't wait
