rochester,
i have a turbonetics t60-1 with the t4 turbine housing....currently a .82 a/r, but its a on center design, the old manifold brought it close to the block, hence the on center design. if i buy the new t4 manifold from buschur or dsmotorsport, will i need a on center housing or a regular tang? im losing efficeny with the on center, plus im not gonna use a .82 a/r, im ordering a .62 but need to know what fits without interference with the block, the oncenter or tang?

Depends on what manifold you're going to get. If you get the new cast T4 mani thats the same as the one we sell, then you will need a tangential housing. BTW you must currently have a .81 housing cause they don't make a .82 T4. And they don't make a .62 T4 ether. I would recommend you get the .58 split tang. housing. IF you have a .82 housing then you have a T3/T4, not a strait T4.

okok, its a straiht t4, i havent looked at the a/r in a long time, but you are right. they have the .58 .69 and .81. so if i get the tangential .58 and the t4 manifold, it will not touch the block correct? and why the need for a divided tang?

Correct, if you get a tangential turbine housing with the new cast T4 mani it will not hit the block. The .58 divided housing seems to give a little quicker spool without compromising top end. Let me know if you need any help, we have those manifolds in stock and can build the other custom parts you need to install it.

does the wastegate interfere with anything, since it is under the manifold as well. i have a turbonetics deltagate and am planning on using a 3 inch exhaust from the turbine and a 1 1/2 or larger waste gate pipe. with this setup do you think i should still be able to avoid boost creep with 75 shot
