hmm, ok. whats the diff here?
which would you recommend, and why?
i plan on running 13's eventually.

whats are the pros and cons of each? i see price is nearly identical.

I"ll give the most obvious answer and let the more experienced guys get into more detail for ya.

T-28 is direct bolt on. YOu take the T-25 off and put the T-28 on, no ( or little ) hassle.

with the 16G, you have to spend the extra money for a kit to make it fit on your 2G

if i were you, i would go with the better turbo not which one will be easier to install

because after the install is done are you stuck with the turbo you want or the one that took less time to put on?

with the mitsu turbo you would then have less hassle when you decide to upgrade again to say an 18 or 20G...the mitsus aren't that hard to put on a 2G...I'm getting everything together to put a 14b on mine right now without the kit...$100 for all of it (inc. turbo) not to bad, me thinks

Theres not too much difference in hp between the 2 turbos from what i have heard i have a Agp T28 and love the thing. it was a nice swop and afordable and awsome power for the money and no kits needed. if your looking for price and good hp id recomend the T28 all the way.

ok...which turbo will give more capability to run better times once i start hitting the max performance.

why is it on dsmtimes.org...the small 16g's seem to have better times over the big 16g??

i payed 650 for my Agp T28 i got in on the groop buy from AgpTurbo.com you have to give them your t25 for a 200 buck core charge. If your looking to be in the mid 300 hp range then the T28 this turbo will put you up too 360hp with the right mods and they spool up very fast and hold till red line. Its great to get a turbo that fits right on no problems or kits.

Id have to say youd get better times out of a 16G on FWD becuz of the slower spool time. Its hard to get any traction with the T28 style turbo on FWD since it spools so damned fast. Other then that I say the two turbos are even in almost every other category.

also like the fact that you can race in the winter and rund damn near the same as if it was summer!!!!!!!! for the AWD guys out there! also... how much do halfshafts run? i know that the drivers side one is a two piece design and in the middle it is coming undone.... anybody know anything i can do about it other than replacing it?!

You will have to replace it as far as I can tell. I went to Autozone, NAPA, and Advance Auto Parts as well as the Parts America.com website. None of them had the correct boot listed. I brought home one of these boots and noticed it is a circular shaped boot that will not seal over the deep groved shape of the halfshaft ends. Looks somewhat similar in shape to a die for threading bolts...(best comparison I could think up right now.)

ok thanks!!! but should that connection move like in and out like that.... i am worried about the first launch i do.... hope it doesn't mess up the car.... i will probably replace the whole unit first before i run the car! hopefully it isn't that much money!

thanks
