I just installed a 20g turbo Tubular exhaust manifold, 38mm waste gate, full 3in exhaust system and Street Front Mount Intercooler Kit . when I step on the gas the car picks up then cuts off. but before I step in it, the car drives fine and now the car brakes up when I drive regular could it be the stock ecu and injectors?? :dsm:

Sounds like fuel cut. Check for intake leaks around every coupling you installed when you put in that intercooler.

Did you just say you have the 20g and stock injectors in the same sentence?!?! Um, you are probably running out of fuel when it starts to pick up like that. Need more info.

Probably fuel cut..................450cc on a 20g???? Wow man.....wow, do you even have a pump? My injectors are hitting 75% duty on 680's and a 255 walboro....on my 20g.

I know that my car wouldn't boost when my filter sucked up water because it would mess up my gm mas, that is if you have a translator.

By "braking up" do you mean "breaking up"? Your stock ECU and injectors are the problem. You definitely need to upgrade. Look here to see what you need to do.

I checked and there are not leaks

it brakes up when I rev the the gas

Fuel cut is not his problem if he is getting it while reving, something is wrong with the car.

Are you sure there are no leaks? Did you boost leak the whole system to 20psi for a couple min?

Can you borrow a datalogger from a friend to see if you can figure out what it is doing?

Even though the stock fuel is not this problem, it is a HUGE PROBLEM!!!!

You need to upgrade immediately!!!

So what are you saying??? its not the fuel system but its a huge problem?

Have you replaced spark plugs and wires recently. Not only does the car need more fuel when given more air but ignition is also a must. If you are running under 20psi I would recommend NGK BPR7ES spark plugs that could be found or ordered from NAPA and I would say replace the spark plugs at the same time. If you are running 24+ psi I would use NGK BPR8ES to prevent pre-ignition.
Is the check engine light on? If it is you may want to find out why.
What type of boost controller are you using? Check to see that the vacuum lines are run to the wastegate properly.
You may have an electrical problem as well. If your car is not grounded correctly you can cause misfires like this too.

I'm saying stock fuel isn't going to cause a problem while cruising/reving no matter how big the turbo is.

But I'm also saying that he needs to upgrade if he ever plans on accelerating.

Running stock fuel and turbo is something for hondas, not DSM's. :nono:

I just went through a similar problem on my GVR4 (which has the neccessary supporting mods) and it turns out that the wires at the cam sensor plug were going bad. I had a problem at mid to high RPM, whether free revving or under load. Eventually it got bad enough to do it even at idle so I was able to wiggle wires and narrow it down. It actually happened twice, the first time I just replaced the connector and about 6 inches of the wires with parts I had on a harness I had lying around the shed. About 3 months later it started again with the "new" plug and wires so I ended up disassembling the plug, removing the old wires, soldering 18" of new wire on each of the old connector "pins", disassembling the harness back to the the bracket on the rear of the intake mani, cutting the old wires out, and soldering/heat shrinking new ones. These harnesses are getting old and where the wires exit the plug they make a pretty sharp bend which makes them prone to failing inside the insulation and then you'll get all sorts of breaking up that seems just like an ignition problem but it isn't. Hopefully this helps but like everyone else has said, a 20G is a big turbo and you really must have supporting mods like a bigger fuel pump and injectors to prevent engine damage.
