I was wondering if i had someone make me IC piping with 2.5" diameter and stuck them on the 2.75/3" intercooler would this be enough piping diameter to make 450whp?? Just asking because i have a friend with a 3" and 2.75" intercooler for sale and i have a deal on ic piping with 2.5" diameter. Thanks
-Shane

also::Or should i just spend a little more and get 3" ic piping with the 3" ic?? or is 3" piping too big?

Ok great, i dont plan on ever running 9's... at most high 10's thanks alot! :thumb:

2.5 is probably bigger than most of us on this board will ever need. You'll be fine

Intercooler piping won't mean jack if the intercooler can't handle the pressure. That's what you really need to be worried about.

True, you can use 2.5 intercooler piping with a crappy tiny intercooler or with a huge one. The deciding factor with be your core, not the piping. 2.5 is fine, and I would get something in the size range of the slowboy race or dejon tool core for piece of mind.
