blitz bov funtionality

hey guys, i just put on the blitzDD ive had sitting for over 6 months in my garage, but now when i boost (i have the blitz vented) it doesnt seem to function properly. How do i go about adjusting the bov? i know there is a hex nut and allen wrench on the top, but i dont really know how to tighten the spring load...cause right now its set to real loose.

OK so when you installed it you put some kinda gasket down or RTV to seal any loose pockets of air, correct. next you need to tighten the adjusting screw all the way down and start adjusting the screw as you are doing some test runs. next listen for the BOV to release at low psi anywhere from 6-10psi. at that psi it should be quiet and not very loud at all. at 15-20psi it should get louder. tightening the adjusting screw will compact the tension spring inside making it harder for boost to open but lessen the chance for it to open during the change between boost and vacuum.

ok the nuts all the way tight, so i would have to loosen it... anyways the problem is the bov is very quiet, almost non-existant...i guess cause im running 9psi right now. i want to tighten the spring to the same tightness as about the crushed 1g bov i was running earlier. i am conused about the allen and the hex nut, do i have to turn both these or just the hex nut? whats the allen for?
bah i think i will switch back to my stock 1g bov.... any help will be awesome

the allen IS the set screw to adjust the BOV tension.

okay cool i guess ill turn the allen nut and tighten up the spring. ill let u know if it works.
