Hey everyone,
I need to know if there are any valve spring compressor that fit into the first generation head so i can remove my valves. I did disassemble one head already, however i was in machine shop and used the head shop press to press down on the springs. All of the spring compressors in my school would not fit inside the head. So if anyone knows a specific website, store, part number, or brand of spring compressor that will allow me to perform this I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

Grrr... If I was home I could get the part number off mine. I'm sure you can get a universal C Clamp stye one that works just fine..I don't remember buying anything specific.

Regards,

I use a standard c-clamp style compressor, with a piece of aluminum tubing 4" long 1/8" wall with a couple of windows cut in the sides, to access the keepers. It works very well I can dissassemble a head in 15 min, reassembly is about 30 min. after shimming and measurement.
