What up all! Im looking for some opinions or even insite on which turbo is better, T4 or 20G. Or mabe which one is bettter for the 4G63 is a better question? I'm looking for big horsepower but still streetable. I plan on installing a Crower stroker kit and all mods needed for a larger turbo. So, all I want to know is what turbo I should buy, T4 or 20G.

T4 ha i doubt you'd be able to spool it up in time. you get full boost at like 5000 rpms and then what only have another 2 rpms to rev before you have to shift. stick with a 20g. you will get full boost by 3400 and have another 4k or rpms left until you have to shift. if you want a big turbo with fast spool get a dual ball bearing turbo. i happen to be selling a AGP L2R if you are interested. big turbo full boost by 3400 rpms. big turbo its a 56 trim i believe.

All I asked for was an opinion or mabe even insite. And, I know what I need to buy, I just didn't want to waste time typing out all the *uckin* mods Im going to buy. So, don't be telling me that I need to do more research buddy. Next time just answer the damn question.

If you know what you need to buy than why are you asking

Do you have any idea in the size difference between a 20g and a T4. The 20g is pretty much a medium sized turbo by today’s standards. A T4 like any Garrett turbo can be one of a thousand different combinations of wheels all of which could yield different spool times and power outputs.

The owner of this board wants that question formatted like this.

If you're going to ask a question about a turbo here on DSMtuners, be sure you've read this message. We're going to be a little more strict about how turbo questions are asked in order to maintain the high level of quality in the forums.

- Before you ask:
1. Be sure you have your vehicle's mods listed in your Profile.
2. Be sure you understand what supporting mods are needed for larger turbos - check the Tuning Guide linked at the top.
3. No "X"-Turbo vs. "X"-Turbo threads... these are never useful.
4. Use the Private Message feature to ask members about their setup.
5. Please avoid asking questions about turbo specs, unreleased turbos, or other questions that can be accurately answered by simply calling the manufacturer directly.

- How to ask:
1. List your budget for the turbo and the supporting mods.
2. List your goals - 1/4 mile time, hp, and what the car will be used for (drag/road race).
3. Ask about specific turbos.
4. Title your thread specifically about the turbo you have a question on. No "which turbo should I buy?" titled threads.

So let me repeat myself do more research and ask more intelligent questions.

If your not going to help soneone, don't say anything at all. If your going to be a** holes about helping someone, ill take my inqueries elsewhere. I don't give a *hit about your want for "quality forums". By the way, I said I knew what mods to buy, not turbo! I think ill just block you from replying to my threads.

I think I am a DSMTuners wiseman. I am here to provide advise to people. If you dont care about the quality of the forums dont let the door hit you on the way out the door. The best suggestion that I can give to anyone starting a new project is to do research. By asking about two turbos on opposite end of the spectrum its obvious that you havent done any reserach into them. Im trying to save you from wasting your money.

91GSXR,

rdrkt is a VERY knowledgeable member of this board. If he is making a recommendation for you to do something, then I suggest you listen to his recommendation WITHOUT showing the rest of the board how immature you are with your childish responses. It doesn't say 'DSMTuners Wiseman' under his name because he has brown hair. I advise you to either appologize and ask your question again with a civil attitude, and I guarentee you get responses, or make a quiet and orderly exit.

Regards,

Heh.. I figured I'd give it a whirl. I usually unleash the beast but then people get all hurt, and send me their tear soaked panties in the mail, and commit suicide and all this stuff I don't need on a Wednesday.

Regards,

Wow...just what I expected. Chris, Larry, John, Rob, can we PLEASE lock this and make this thread a sticky??

FOR ALL YOU NEWBIES OUT THERE ASKING A QUESTION:

When we get a response like this moron did, we will answer your question with the same tone with which you asked it. You say we stereotype and group the newbies together, well HERE IS YOUR PROOF. This guy responded exactly how I expected him to. The typical know it all newbie, when he doesn't get his way, he cries and pouts like a 4 year old. If you ask a question, use common sense, don't type in ebonics, and if someone tells you to do more research, reply back with 'what exactly should I research so I can get the proper answer to my question?' If you act like an as$hole the knowledgeable members will wipe you accordingly.

Regards,

OMG I fell out of my chair OMG

Seriously though.

91GSXR The thread that says "Before you ask about a turbo read this."

You did not read that. You do need more research on these turbo's then after asking your question formatted in the above way we can answer your question better.
