thinking about buying a turbo dsm

i am thinking about buying a 1990 laser turbo. they want 2500 for it. is this a good price and the car was just painted like last week? if i do buy it what should my first few mods be? i do'nt know anything about turbo dsms.

Price sounds about right depending on miles and condition. But I would buy if i were u. Mod's? Dont even think about mods until u do ALL the maintence. Its worth it. Maintence can be mod's or mod supporting. Like with new plugs and plug wires. Get better ones cause you'll need them later on. Replace all the filters. A complete fluid flush. Just check everything. Gaskets,hoses, clamps. Go over it head to toe and fix or replace anything that needs it. You want your car running 100% before u throw on mod's.

i got a friend dave selling a 1992 Eagle talon tsi here in san diego for 2000 bux if interested. comes with honed manifold, x clutch, and other goodies. its in pretty good condition.
