Which turbo would be most effective, durable, and reliable for a daily driver that kicks ass on the launch and top end power? A Ported Clipped EVO III 16g or the Garrett T04B V-Trim? (Mods i got now are Apexi N1 Turbo-Back, Greddy IC Piping with Type-S BOV, Alto End clutch kit, MBC, Formula Fabricated Header) mods gettng by time i get turbo and stuff below = Reworked valve body with shift kit, Torque Converter, FMIC, replaced 02 housing)

With either of those turbos which would be best? A 190 or 255 Fuel Pump Re-Wired? would i run too rich with a 255 or is it needed?

Wut Size injectors would i need? 650 Sound good? or the more the better(ya i know ill have a SAFC or something by time i get this stuff)

And yes all this will take like the next year or so, just tryn to get things planned out and have a better understanding of things, thx for any help and advice.

i would go with the EVO III 16G, 190lph fuel pump (good to about 400hp), 650cc injectors.. you wont' run too rich if you get stuff that is too big, like a 255lph fuel pump, thats what you have a S-AFC for!

are you gonna drag with this car? what are your goals? cause an EVO III turbo aint gonna get you a 10 sec slip in a street car.

no i dont plan on doing any serious drag, ill take it to the strip every now and then and run it and race friends and other ppl but just for fun, just want to make the car as fast as it can be that i can use as a primary source of transportion that isnt gonna #### up cuz of all the modding, as for the 10 sec goal i doubt ill ever reach that, id be happy as could be with mid 11-12s but will ###### end with 13s OMG dunno tho, havent had it dynod so dunno wut its runin now.

if you want i'll sell you mine ported evo16g , had it for about 7000 miles... 400 shipped

i still think the FP green is one of the best street turbos and it'll definitely get you into low twelves on pump gas.

dsmlover99 good luck with a relibable dsm

BTW, reliability comes with experience. :thumb:

The 190 will work with both those turbos but if you plan to upgrade in the future go with the 255, the only downside is you will need a new fpr with it. For injectors it depends on what tunning method you use as to how big you can get away with. With a piggyback system such as an safc usually 650 is about the limit, anything bigger then that and the timing maps look really bad (to much advance). On the other hand if you get dsmlink go with a larger injector then you need such as 750, 850, etc. so you won't have to upgrade in the future and there isn't much of a cost difference between the different flow rates. As for the turbo the evoIII is a nice street turbo, my ported evoIII makes 18 psi by 3300 rpms which is basically the same as an unported t25 but it pulls hard to the redline. But like most other people I've had this for one summer & I want something bigger. The fp green is one of the turbo's Im considering. Not to say you can't make some big numbers/times on the evo but race gas & every bolt-on helps alot.

Get the biggest turbno you can afford and someything like DSMchips or link. I have a Holset HX-35/40, run a 0-60 MPH at 3.8x seconds and I shift at 8k rpom's but it's still pulling on 750's but 850's would be better. Go with a 255 pump and have it done. I have boughten too many parts twice or more not knowing how much more I could use and still be streetable. Mark
