I recently finished creating my charge piping on my 92 TSI and i took it out for a drive and the blow off valve seems to be way too far behind when it normally is. I can hear the air escaping out of the turbo while lifting off the throttle after heavy acceleration, then i the bov seems to let a minuscule amount of air out. All vac lines are hooked up properly set up is the same as before but now i get excess compressor surge :barf: , other then a faulty (Greddy Type-S) BOV what would be the problem? Thanks

Have you checked for boost leaks and make sure that you connected the vacuum line on the bov to the top nipple not the bottom one. Brandon [VFRacing]

Try adjusting the BOV, it has settings to adjust hard and soft. Also checking for leaks at the BOV base, as well as for other boost leaks would be a wonderful idea.

:tease: Dying Turkey!@!@!@!!@ Thats hilarious ( and thats what it sounded like). Very good synopsis Jetta it was a vac line collapsing because it was soo hot (SHATTY VAC LINE AT THAT). I threw a 1st gen BOV on here and a new line and it sounds fine. Thanks for the posts. :thumb:
