I think you're thinking of an EDM car, yo.bhop said:Yes they are. The giveaways are the fold in mirrors, and orange corners on the tail lights, and side turn markers, which are regulations in Japan. Of course, they are the same cars as the ones here. Mitsubishi 'imported' some of them from the U.S. to sell there and they were LHD the same as ours. I think with the 2g, they only sold FWD's over there, but the HP was bumped up a little if I remember correctly.

The horse pic threw me off dammit! So does that mean the Eclipse is an import in Japan?bhop said:No i'm not, yo. It was exported to both Europe and Japan. (it seems to be the same version though)
Here's a Japanese site about it, it's in Japanese of course, but you can run it through a translator or something. (don't let the horse pic throw you off)

That just seems so wierd to me!bhop said:Pretty much. I suppose it'd be like importing a European Ford 'Ka' or something else not available here, to the U.S. It's not a domestic car, but it's still a Ford.
! Calling a Ford an Import...
