I'm just ordered my triple piler gauge pod from lo-tech. And now i'm looking for a which boost gauge to order. I will order the other gauges later but right now i need at least a boost gauge. I decided to go with autometer. But i just wanted to know what the difference between the ultralight, sport comp., and the phantom. I really want the colbalt one, but i can't seem to find a price for it.

I was always under the impression it was the looks too.

I know with some gauges it will tell you your higest boost you reached, etc with the peak hold stuff...I know Greddy has this, not sure if Autometer does this too.

I dont think autometer makes peak hold boost guages. I could be wrong.

Greddy has some new silver guages out. They looks bad ass.

I think somebody had them for around 180 a peice. For peak hold 60mm.

yup, the only difference are its looks...i think machv.com sells em.

the cobalt boost guage is 200 and the egt guage is 159 i think. the new cobalt series has some electronic sender unit thingy. but the egt for 159 comes with the probe.

Well i found the gauges at machv.com. But i'm not sure if i'm gonna get the cobalt ones now. I didn't know they would be that pricey. I was guessing around 99 for the boost. They want 174 for the boost, 189 for egt, and 99 for air/fuel. I could buy almost 3 phantom series or of the others for around the same price of the boost gauge. Does anybody have any pics of the other series lit up? Iv'e heard that you could just change the light inside to a led light of the color you want.

i have ultra lite and was wondering if i can change the bulb behind them so itll glow indiglow and if anyone else has done this..i know i shouldve bought indiglow series or "lunar" as they call them but i was being pricey..i really hate the pale yellow light but love the quality of autometer..thanx
