I am only posting this because I had difficulty finding a thread pertaining to this muffler...
I have gotten tired of the sound of my ol' Apex N1 so I sold it and hunted for something new. I decided on the Dynomax Ultra-flow 3" in/out model.. this muffler is completely a straight shot all the way through no baffles or anything.. the box rates it at 1235 cfm.
I installed in under cab on my GST and ran the old 3" mandrel the rest of the way out the back.
It sounds wonderful marginally louder than a stock exhaust MASSIVE amounts quieter than the N1. and quite possibly flows better.
I suggest anyone looking into a custom exhaust check this out. it was much better than I had hoped.
