TT harness, same for 1g/ 2g?

Does anyone know if the TT harnesses are the same for 1g and 2gs? Or are they completely different from each other? Meaning, will a 2g harness work on a 1g? I dont know how much of a difference there is for wiring but just wondering if anyone knows this answer or not or if anyone has tried it.

I think it's just a matter of the power wire being different.

I had a 1g harness on my 2g and the TT would work fine when the car was on but as soon as you shut if off the TT would lose power. Switched to a 2g harness and it works fine.
