Venom Intake Manifold.

I saw it on DSM motorsport, it looks really nice, but it doesnt have many specs for it. Does anyone have it? if so what HP gains did u see or performance did u see. Any problems with install or fitting. And was it worth the $560.

Yes it's worth the $ if you want something that looks nice. There are other companys that make intake manifolds for our cars. You really won't need anything like that until you have extensive mods on your car. They're really made for drag.

They put it on a completely stock DSM and showed gains while retaining near stock drivability. Plus it's only about $500 dollars

Guys, I just had a chance to dyno my car with the new Venom intake. First, bare in mind that is not a inertia style dynonameter (like DynoJet), this was Dyno Dynamics dyno which tends to show ~15% figures (but it can also do AWD). So do not look at the absolute numbers, but rather at general graph behavior.

Anyway, I got 372hp which stayed pretty much constant from 6700 until my redline of 8000 rpms. I would say that his intake is as good as any other sheetmetal intakes and it has fewer fitment issues...

Venom intake manifolds are something I've been looking into for a while but could never get any REAL data on. Everyone says it sucks or its great. I'd like to see some flow chart data or at least some before and after dyno graphs before I came to a conclusion.

with extensive mods you can see as much as 20 hp to the wheels!. Go to turbomagazine.com go to tech. then click on the galant dyno cell. theres two go to the last one. It will show every mod that they put on there and how much power to the wheels it gave them. The IM gave them 20 I think.

Turbo got 20 HP from the OLD style of Venom intake... The only relation between the old and the new is the color of anodizing and Venom name .

The intake that I am using is VERY different from that Turbo Magazine. IMHO, it is much better.
