Engine spools then dies

90 talon turbo with complete engine and head rebuild took for a ride tonight the engine spooled up really good then it just stopped pulling(like it hit a limiter of some sorts) got home and popped the hood and i have oil all over the place it came out the oil fill cap............WHAT IS THE PROBLEM and did i hurt the engine (it still runs fine)

Probably sucked a cat into the Turbo. Happens to me all the time.

Just kidding... I'm bored. I have NO IDEA what could be wrong with your car. I don't even know how to change MY oil.

Change your oil cap..... and check the valve cover gasket

oil cap ok.......... but why so much oil and what would make it die do the cars have a boost limiter or something of the sorts?????????

Your getting alot of pressure built up in the crankcase. The same thing just happened to me. Change your oil cap ($10), and also replace your PCV valve ($10) with a Mitsu one, dont get an aftermarket one, they all suck and leak.

When you pull out your old PCV valve (it takes like a minute to replace), shake it, you should hear it rattling, theres a check ball in there. Clean the ends on it, and you should be able to blow through it going from head to intake, but not going from intake to head.
