Park,
Well i think i'm done with what i think is an initial modification (BOV, 3" Turbo Back Exhaust, Necessary gauges, Boost Controller, T Timer, & Intercooler pipes). Am i missing something??? Now i'm up for a AGP T28.... would want to know what additional mods i need to get b4 getting the turbo. winter is coming up so.... this car isn't going anywhere.... guys got other turbo upgrade suggestions besides AGP T28................. suggestions and help are well appreciated. Thanx!

Sounds like you've got all you need to support the T28. You could get more out of it with a FMIC and fuel system upgrades, but it will be fun with what you've got.

I believe it would be advisable to put in a Walbro 190 or larger fuel pump to keep up with the extra air being pushed out of the T-28

go with a 190 fuel pump you dont need a 255 if you get that then you need a fule presure regulator with is not nessary with the 190 and the 190 will be good to 375 hp i also recomed the 550's for injectors they shopuld be plenty. 190 and the 550s were larryds last set up and he was doing low 13s 13.3 i think...... its a nice set up.

DSM'ers over fuel pump their cars. I've ran 109mph traps in a full weight 1g with a stock NON re-wired pump. A 2g will hit electronic fuel cut WAY before the car is in danger of running out of fuel. The limitatiuon of Liquid's car is going to be the ECU hitting fuel cut. Next mods should be 550's, SAFC, and 190lph pump. Then a FMIC, and turn up the boost.

Isn't it also not necessary for a new fuel pump for the APGT28 with 93+ octane gas??

That's kind of right on the edge. If you had a big FMIC and injectors/SAFC you tuned it real well you could run 22psi on 93 octane. And I wouldn't run a stock pump with 22psi on an upgraded turbo.

suc.... building a sleeper type GST...... with FMIC, i would need to change my front..... guys know a good :shhh: descreet :shhh: FMIC??? or i could be asking too much for a sleeper setup huh?

Well a lot of people have been having the FMIC painted black or the like. I know its not normal paint, I dont know what is used, maybe powder coating or something. It may hinder flow capability but may make up having it powder coated and keeping it a bit cooler.... just a thought. but I have seen it and it does look pretty damn bad!!

do you really need a fuel pressure regulator with a 255?????

i think that if you wanted to stay "sleeper" try the supra sidemount intercooler. its a heck of a lot bigger than the stock side mount and i have heard good things about it.
check it out.

From where i live..... there's a lot of Highschool students with riced out honda's or 3G eclipse around, and people that thinks their ride is fast..... my red GS-T stock look doesn't even stop those people from racing me and my spoilers is not helping much either (sorry ass bastards cant even keep up with my suck a$$ takeoff's).... not that i encourage street racing.... but the fact of smoking a ricer with their girlfriends at the passenger side is too good to pass up...... but sometimes its not even worth the rubber i burn on takeoffs or the fuel i dump in it..... plus suburban cops got sharps eyes on a RED.... SPORTY LOOK CARS...... thank god for cruise control.

I guess i can't keep my car as a sleeper anymore...... my need for speed will have to eat more rice.... hehehe..... damn just thought of it...... had to buy new front kit and FMIC...... how much do those bastards cost???

I dont' know Larry, the first night I didn't have to work and I got to take out my brandnew GSX I must have broken every traffic law and it felt SO DAMN GOOD to DESTROY every damned Neon and 80's Honda that pulled up on me or tried the ricer fly by. The even greater thing was when some of them asked "Damn what's in that thing" and I could smile bigger than ever and say "Stock B][tch".

Oh man I love that car...

...I'm sure beating ricers will get old and annoying soon.

I cannot remember the company off the top of my head, but they sell an anodized black intercooler, works the same as a silver one, but not nearly as noticable... somebody help me w/ the name or a link

Sorry but back to the topic, I guess it would be best for me to get a 190 instead of a 255(for a T28)

the reason I wanted to go with a 255 is because I was comparing it to an exhaust system. U know a 2.5" exhaust(190lph) would be enough but a 3"(255lph) may be needed if u upgrade again.

so If I decide to run a 50-75 shot in the future, would a 190 pump still be good enough?

an If I get a fuel pressure regulator, cant I turn down fuel on a 255 pump so I dont run lean/rich(which ever 1 too much fuel is)

another thing, how much boost can I run on a AGPT28 with a 190, 550s, S-AFC, with the stock side mount w/ 93octane
