Hialeah,
what fuel pump is best for running the evo 3 Big 16G the walbro 190 or the 255?...im confused...also which fuel pressure regulator is best for my set up?... thanks

For the Evo 3 16G turbo get 190 pump and 660 injectors. You don't need AFPR with the 190 pump. The 190 pump is good for 400HP, so you'll be fine.

If you get the 255 you WILL need to get a AFPR. There are people on here who have used the 190 with 50 trim turbos and ran it with no problems. If you plan on going with a bigger turbo some day like the Green or 20G, get the 255.

Which ever pump you get, you'll still need some kind of fuel control with the big injectors like MAFT or SAFC or DSMlink. :thumb:

I would get the 255 and have it done as an upgrade will happen eventually. I use the bolt on AFPR from www.fullthrottlespeed.com and get the MAF-T from them as they are the manufacturers of it. Mark

IMO I would go with the 255, I don't like upgrading things twice. You will need a afpr with the 255. Even with the 190 the afpr will make tuning much easier. I would reccomend the Aeromotive afpr. I've never had or heard anybody else have any problems with it. I have heard some people have problems with the full throttle unit. I do not have any experience with the full throttle afpr. Which ever you choose I would suggest doing some more of your own research.
