I am selling my Profec B, and I want to get a MBC. I am looking for a basic, solid, and simple mbc that will hold boost levels.

Anyone have any opinions here?

Thanks,
Nathan

i have a turbosmart mbc. works nice and i love the adjusting screw because it tells u which way is + and - LOL. no complaints. does what it should do

i have had a hallman and a turboxs 2 stage. The 2stage didnt work for crap. The hallman holds whatever i set it at with almost no spiking.

Thanks for the feedback fellas. I have been thinking about the Hallman, but still wasnt sure.

I am selling the Profec B because I dont need the dual stage boost. And a manual bc will hold boost just as good as an electronic or better.

I am selling it for $200 to someone locally. If anyone wishes to purchase it for $225 shipped then its yours.

Thanks,
Nathan

Hrm, I went the opposite direction as you did. I had an XBC which personally gave me no problems, no creep or spike. I just wanted to be able to change boost on the fly. Have no complaints with the Profec either. Right now she's holding 20lbs like a champ. Course this changes with the colder weather, but thats why I like adjustable in car boost :)

Chris, you have an excellent point there. For your reasons the Profec is definitely a perfect fit. I simply dont run that high of boost anymore. plus, i am selling my car :) So, I wanted to put a manual on, then sell the profec b.

Later man.

ps. I am getting a type r, because I am going to start track racing
