hey i got my exhaust from a presonal sale and when i was looking at pics of the exhaust for sale on an offical site, i noiced there was a gasket that fit inbetween the muffler half and the rest of the piping that connects to the cat. do i need this gasket or will fumes and all that escape?

notice in the pic the round (metal im assuming) gasket which is next to the bolts which fits inbetwen the two parts of the exhaust...

If there was meant to be a gasket there, then I would assume you need it. Either way, I wouldn't put any thing on without the proper gaskets.

Looks like a standard 3" 3 bolt flange gasket. You should be able to get it at most any parts store. Most are just composit material, not metal, but they will still work just fine.

alright i got thattt gasket, are there any OTHER gaskets that i need along the exhaust? such as between the engine and the downpipe?

it would be a good idea to get a gasket for every joint in your exhaust. There is rarely a part in any car that is metal to metal that doesnt use a proper gasket or a sealer of sorts. Theyre a good thing to have.
