Hey guys I need to find a downpipe that fits my cat-back. It is an HKS 3" cat-back. I am not sure exactly which one because it was on my car when I bought it. But I have read places that the HKS gets smaller to fit the stock cat. Do I need to ditch the cat-back to get a downpipe? Or does anyone know of any downpipes that will fit my cat-back? Thanks.

Also if I were to need to get a new cat-back could I get a turbo-back that deletes the O2 or do I need to keep it on there? I have the mods in my profile.

I dont know about your downpipe sizing but i can answer your o2 housing question. An o2 eliminator downpipe doesnt "delete" the o2 housing. It merely replaces it with a higher flowing tubular one. Some o2 eliminators have the downpipe and o2 housing as one piece other keep them seperate.

Oh ok, that makes more sense. So it would be ok to get one of those set-up's then?

Do you want to keep the HKS?
If so and it does neck down to fit the stock cat, have an exhaust shop cut it where it necks down and put a new flange on it. Very simple.

Next. Do you want to have a cat? If so, get a 3" high flow cat without the flanges(summit racing has them cheap)

I have this downpipe(scroll down the page). I've had it for years. It works well and still looks new.

You can also buy the flanges from them. You'll need 3 of them if you plan on keeping the HKS and you want a cat.

So what you will have:
Downpipe
Highflow cat with a new flange so the DP and cat can connect. The muffler shop can add(if needed) an extention(3" pipe) to the other side of the cat so it will make up for the small section you cut off the HKS. Then they just add one flang to the HKS side and one to the extention on the cat.

Done and very easy
I hope this helps
Good luck

Yea that helps alot, thanks. I will either be doing that or just selling the cat-back and getting a full turbo back exhaust.
