When ever I check for boost leaks on my car using the intake leak tester, I am losing all of my pressure out of the oil dipstick tube, oil cap, and pcv tube. Is this normal, or am I experiencing huge blow by in the cylinders/head?? When I plug these areas, I hold pressure fine.

The car is a 90 TSi, never been boosted past stock settings, 9-11 PSI (15 PSI twice, and yes I have a boost guage).

This car has never been beat on and has 100,000 kms. Any insight on to why this is all happening, or is this normal??

Thanks,

Some blow by is normal, but usually blowing the dipstick out, is an indication of too much.

Did you do a compression test?
