What Exhaust with Megan DP?

I plan on purchasing the Megan Racing downpipe off ebay and am wodering what are the best cat-backs that will fit it. Or would it be better just to have a shop custom make an exhaust?

I just ordered a tsudo one off of ebay from seller nissangtr somethin. He is a good seller, fast responses. Should be here within 3 or 4 days and I'll throw up pictures. Megan and Tsudo, some of the best aftermarket parts out there in my opinion the welds are superb

Will do, It's going to be a Megan DP with a Tsudo Catback. It is suppose to be in this week and hopefully I'll have pictures and soundclips this weekend. I have a magnaflow muffler I am going to put on instead of the apexi type muffler but don't know when I'll get around to doing that.

i've been looking at the megan downpipe, but having a gsx the choises are much more limited (at least on ebay) for cheap catback exhaust. everything seems to be GST.

i was personal looking at doing the meagan 3in with 3in tsudo catback. if i can find one.

Don't think there is a "best" catback exhaust system. It's mostly a matter of personal preference and how much you can afford. I use the Megan downpipe with the Apexi N1 catback exhaust system. The system sounds nice and is actually quiet compared to my friends cars.

Just take the downpipe to an exhaust shop & have them fab you up a catback. I don't see why people dish out 600+ bucks for brand-made piping & muffler..piping is piping (Forgetting about mandrel bends, etc of course). A custom-made 2½" or 3" catback will perform just as well as an Apexi cat-back (Assuming it's made correctly, of course..minimal bends, etc), and will cost you a LOT less.

I just got my tsudo catback put on last night and man it was PERFECT, perfect welds, perfect bends, perfect hangers. Went on without a hitch. 280$ shipped to my door off of ebay . I'll try and get a sound clip up within a few days.

Does anyone know if Tsudo has plans for a GSX cat-back? I'd love to save $260 off the N1.

Ive got the megan racing DP and a bosal cat-back.

All with a 3-stage polish, 3" tubing.

the downpipe chokes up to 2.5" at the rear flange. The bosal catback chokes to 2.1" to meet a stock cat. I cut both flanges off and had a slip fit 3" joint made to join them

Whole 3" SS, polished turbo-back cost me 450$.

So far, that will run me about $470. Plus about $130 for a cat if I can find one that price.

I don't know what high flow cat yet. I want to find the best price on that. Any suggestions? I'm about to do a search. thanks!

+1 I will put my 3" mandrel bent shop cat back with maganflow muffler against any $600+ anyday.
