Quick 3g Question. Exhaust Related

My girl just bought a 3g eclipse gt. was wondering if anyone knew if the catback system that fit on a 4cyl fit on the v6? was wondering because on ebay sellers said it wouldnt fit and some said it would. figured id have a better chance asking a 3g owner. plz let me know. its the tsudo btw.
