20g turbo question

I was thinking of upgrading to a 20g turbo. For the exhaust side of the supporting mods I already have a 2.5 inch downpipe and test pipe and a 3 inch catback. If I went with a 2.5 inch O2 housing and dumptube and then the lancer evo III exhaust manifold do you think this would be adequate flow for the turbo or should I just sell the down pipe and test pipe for a 3 inch? i just got a 20g for my 1 g i have an apexi 3 inch catback and the apexi dp when i ordered my turbo mike ( from slowboyracing) also sent me a ported 02 housing and a new 2 g manifold. for a 20g im pretty sure your gonna need all the flow possible so you should probally get a full 3 inch or with what you have listed if you port your 02 housing or even eliminate it you should be fine

You don't really need a full 3" system unless your goal is 450whp+ 2.5" downpipe with 3" cat back will work just fine.

First, if you run a 20g, then your looking for serious power, You might want to go 3". Truthfully though, is this a daily driver? you may want to go 2.5, for some drivability issues.

20G is not a big turbo IMO. For me serious power is 500+hp a 20G will not support 500 hp.

There's no need to upgrade..like mentioned previously...a 20G is no longer considered a HUGE turbo..you're setup will be fine
