^^^above is a link to the previous thread relating to this subject, in which i was instructed to install a boost gauge on my car and see how it would work in comparison to the greddy profec B spec II . . . i installed by boost controller today and noticed the profec was pretty exact . . . i still have major boost creep, when the boost is set at 15 PSI, it would creep up around 1.5 bar, then i would look at the profec, and it would flash 22.0 at me . . . showing 1.3 bar on the gauge, i got a reading of 19psi on the profec. so it is pretty accurate . . . other than that, my mods are in my profile, pretty much ported exhaust manifold, ported EVOIII, and an o2 dump; 3'' apex-i n1 downpipe/exhuast- - - still creepin' . . . any ideas ? :dsm:

Welcome to my world :notgood: , same problem I had to end up buying a EBC (eboost) to control the uncontrolable boost creep. The EBC allows me to control when the wastegate opens and gives me a chance to open it sooner to cut off the boost creap, but this slows my spool time.

Your system like mine is too efficent basiclly overspinning the turbine and the wastegate can't handle it. I still have a slight problem in 1st and 2nd with creep and will requir me to remove the turbo and port out the wastegate hole to help flow. Thats the problem all that exhuast has no place to go but through that small ass hole.

Don't be so sad, boost creep is a sign that you have reach a certain level of performance and you're hard work is paying off so congratulations. :thumb:

Now the creep. IMO there are two effective ways to deal with this,

1. An external setup. $$$$$$$$

2. Porting. I know your turbo is already ported but it doesn't mean anything. Most of the $50-$90 port job offer by vendors deals mainly with increasing spool up time, not creeping.

If you decides to go with porting, post back and I will help you with where and how much to port. On a side note, since you're only creeping to 19-22psi, it's very probable that if you turn up your boost to around 18psi you might not see any creep at all. Give that a try, increase the controller 1 psi at a time and see if creep will settle down and meet you somewhere halfway.
