2G pistons on Eagle rods

Is there any way to mount a stock 2G piston on a eagle rod?

What do you have to do? Eagle rods are made for floating pistons and the stock 2G pistons are pressed wrist pin type. The dealer put in a new block and I want to change out the stock rods while the engine is still new. I want to do this because my goal for my car is about 400whp and I don't trust the stock rods.

I know a guy that put 2G pistons on Pauter rods. You should be able to do it with out a problem.

before i did my buildup i tried doing that, the problem is that the 2g piston pins are 2 things:
1.) not floating wrist pin, which is what the eagle rods are setup for
2.) slightly larger than the hole (I.D.) of the eagle rods.
the eagle rods have a bushing in the piston pin end for the floating wrist pin. You cant machine down the piston pin because the hole in the piston would be too big then, and i certainly woulndt want to remove the bushing and put a bigger pin in, because youd have to not only bore the rod end out a bit but also the piston bore for the pin. Too risky for me, i didnt want to mess with the structural integrity of the rotating internals. So i went out and got wiseco pistons, good price, and they are great, i have like 3000 miles on my motor so far and no problems.
