I cracked my 91 oil filter housing on my 6 bolt and they are expensive. There are a few 7 bolt oil filter housings in town but I hear that they wont fit. Can anyone confirm this? I may have to buy a new one for 200 bucks.

I didnt see anything in there about oil filter housings. I thought you could, but some guy in town says they wont line up.

Oh I'm sorry I misread what you meant. I though you were talking about the front cover, which I remember from another thread here.. :)
I'm not sure about the oil filter housing, but I know they are listed as different parts..

Hello I had the same problem, I installed the housing from my old engine (7 bolt) it will fit and work but some bolts u will not be able to put them, now it will leak a little oil, what I did instead I went to www.diamondstarmotorsport.com and bought the housing from them, and even u can set up the external oil cooler because the one u have it has the risk from the oil filter to fall off.

The oil filter housing bracket is different from 6 bolt to 7 bolt motors. The bolt patterens are different. I would check out MachV.com and Magnusmotorsports.com as far as what the differences are and MachV has the right housings for your engine. Check it out. Good luck.

I went to dsmotorsport and they dont sell the one I need. I used to have the 90 style oil filter housing but i got rid of it because of clearence problems I had with my fmic. I just need to know if someone with a 6bolt swap used the entire 95-99 turbo oil filter housing. I almost thought about getting the crack tig welded but I would rather have peace of mind knowing that its not going to leak. thanks guys and I apreciate the info.

Check out Mach V. I know they have what your lookin for.

I just checked and I didnt see an oil filter housing for a 91-92 turbo block. I need the housing that runs coolant through it to cool the oil. The one I saw was for an external oil cooler. I might have to go to a dealer. They want like 200 bucks though.
