Im almost completed a new cast intake for our 1g cars. or cars with 1g heads. I have a design question to ask the community before I make a final decision because after all this is for the love of all the dsm's out there that don't want to pay 700+ dollars for a decent intake or possibly the best.
The top of the manifold looking down has nothing on it at present. but I possibly need to put something up there to hold up things at the foundry. If I put a pcv on the top of the manifold somewhere close to the brake booster would that be too un appealing? I have seen other manifolds, mostly the sheet metal ones dont have anything up top but this manifold is cast and needs to meet different demands for production. It will be only one 1inch diameter boss that comes with a 1/2npt anodized plug. would that deter you from buying it? Granted this all comes way after you see how well it performs.
This manifold is a few weeks from testing. I can't wait to unleash this beast for under $400. Im just waiting for spring break to go test at portland and pacific raceways and finish the engine up. I would also like to see if anyone in the pac northwest would be interested in trying a new manifold. possibly with a trip to the dyno.
