i have just purchased a 2g mas, i have the plug with it and all but i looked on vfaq and i cant seem to find how to do it for a 90, cuz the other ones are for 91 threw 94. i was wondering if anyone on here has done it on a 90 and could possibly tell me what the wires are that match up, the colors from the 2g mas plug to the wires going to the 1g plug, since im hardwiring it...thanks alot

Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that all 1G DSMs used the same 7 pin MAS (even the '90)... Although the wire colors may differ, wouldn't the placement be the same if the sensors are the same? -If so, the positions can be seen here:

...From what I understand, the 90s and the GVR4s had two wires swapped around on the ECU's main harness. You could then either swap them at the ECU, or at the MAS (sounds like this would be easier since you are adding the 2G MAS anyways). -Here is the 1G Pinouts as well:

Lastly, having done the 2G MAS swap myself, all I can say is get used to a smoooooth idle!!!! :thumb:

Well what are the colors of the wires on the 2g mas? There are lots of diff colors on the 2g's. If yours has the same colors as mine I can tell you how to hook it up.

if i were looking at the 2g mas with the plug in it, it goes like this....

1. no wire
2. red, white
3. red, blue
4. black
5. red
6. blue, yellow
7. orange
8. green

thats from the filter side to the turbo
