The time has come for me to purchase a set of cams. I am wanting to know what you all think would be my best bet for my current setup to give me a safe maximum powerband.
The reason I am saying SAFE is because I am running a STOCK bottom end with BS elim.
Mods:
Full Head work with OS valves
Crower Spring/Retainer Set
Mits. Metal HG
SBR Cast Manifold
Stock 1G port matched intake manifold
GM Blow Through/MAFT combo
Big FMIC
Supra Fuel Pump w/ custom full rewire
Aeromotive AFPR
SS lines
Denso 660s
Custom DSMChips Chip
Greddy E-01 boost controller
Pocketlogger
PLX-M300 wideband
GT3255 turbo internally gated
HKS race BOV
Full 3" O2 elim exhaust, no cat
Full suspension w/ Poly bushings
Full Poly motor mounts
RPS 2600 6-puck sprung
GVR4 tranny, etc.
I want the most usable powerband that won't be taking my bottom end up too high in the rpm range. I will be running 92 oct. Chevron Techron pump gas @ 22-24 psi. I was not sure If I should go with straight 272/272 or with a 264/272 profile. I have been leaning towards FP2s just making sure before I order them. Thanks guys.
