Can I bolt this up to my stock intake manifold? And will it be able told hold back a 255lph high pressure fuel pump?
 
stock FPR will be fine to hold a 255, sure it might over run but i dont think you will see any problems with it. There are several guys around here that are doing this with no problem at all.

If anything just get an aftermarket FPR
 
Well, I can't go below 3000 rpms cruising in any gear or my car kind of stalls and has no power knocks 5-7 and plain just doesn't feel good. Good for people that are fine with stock regulators, but I'm not and it's really affected drivability.

Anyone that can actually answer my question here??

you really think thats from too much fuel pressure? I think you have a different problem.

But to awnser question it should be the same, its a 4g63 motor just like what is in your car. So it should fit, and i dont think it would stop your over running porblems. Just do it right and buy a FPR if you think thats why you can go below 3grand.
 
Get an aftermarket AFPR ... You won't get much better results with the evo FPR

Because it only happens on low boost, part throttle, and low rpm. When I'm WOT the car's tuned as good as I can get it without a wideband (it's being shipped to me right now.) I don't think it's bad tuning because I've tried added and subtracting fuel and it just keeps knocking.

you should just quit argueing and buy the fpr, and see if that cures your prob. then if its still do it, ßItçh that its still doing it, have you considerd that your fuel May in fact be towards the high end but is fine? it may be that your not getting the air needed to accomodate for all that gas being thrown in the engine, i'd go ahead and buy a air fuel controlling device, any brand your prefer should work. :talon:

air fuel controlling device? I have an SAFC and MAFT w/ 3" blowthru.. I have an AFPR on the way, ordered it two days ago..
