TO4B Vtrim Turbo Users

I was wondering for anyone that has the bullseye to4b vtrim could you tell me what your setup is and around what rpm the turbo is spooling at. I asked this because i just recently got this turbo and i am hitting 15psi by 4,800rpm. I have a built 1g head and intake manifold with fp2cams. I already talked to dave and he suggested to check for leaks first and then tighten the wastegate spring. He also told me that this turbo is supposed to see 15-20psi by 3,500rpm. Did any of you tighten the spring as well and if so how much? Let me know thanks

my mods list is in my profile, I hit about 8 psi at 3k im not pushing more boost because its winter time and I have fwd , I adjusted the actuator a little bit but did nothing my boost wont go up or go down so I dunno what im gonna do?! probably go external with the gate and get a brand new mbc.

then your around where i am then coz i hit 10psi by 3500 thats pretty close

u hit 10psi at 3,500 but it takes an aditional 1,300 RPM to get to 15psi.. hmmm

what size Downpipe and exhaust do u have?
u still have cats? are they clogged?

is ur exhaust manifold tightened properly? did u use new gaskets for the turbo and the manifold?

a boost leak test would also be a good idea too

I too will be purchasing one of these turbo's soon... i'd like to know if u can fix this problem and how it goes..

my turbo spools really nice with my 2g ported manifold and ported 02 housing... my dp is stock for now, and Im about to install my 3 inch catback and then ill post some more.

I have a apexi downpipe with no catalitic converter. Exhaust manifold has been tightend and it has new gaskets. Tallen i was just curious and i wanted to see other peoples spool time ...If after the boost leaks it does the same thing i will go visit you dave at your shop i'll keep in touch via email

RavenX...You should update your profile..it still says you have an EvoIII..not a V-trim. Sorry for the off-topic comment;
