If anyone has a spare cam not fitted in there engine would they be able to measure the diameter of the cam gear locating pin for me please! (accurately, Micrometer preferable! or good vernier)Thanks.
 
I don't have an answer, but I'd be very surprised if Mits and Hyundai don't all use the same dowel across many, many motors. I'm just curious why you're asking.
 
Its just instead of using ajustable cam gears you can set up for an ajustable offset bush! its easy to do and and very economical, just a thought, i have used this system heaps on v8's and i can't see any reason why i cant adapted this system.
i cant measure the pins in mine because it's together and i use the truck all the time and just thought someone in the land of plenty of 4G6X's someone would have one laying around!
