possible Rod Knock??

Well Im new to the DSM Family, Ive had my car since last summer.. 95 GS-T. Its completely stock & Well im kinda scared that i might have Rod Knock. When i start my car it has this knocking sound. but when i let it heat up a lil and rev it, the sound will go away.. This happens every once and awhile. If it't not rod knock do u guys have any ideas on what it could be.... thanx

i think what you hear is lifters. rod knock usually doens't go away. lifters is a DSM thing and are almost always a problem. Check your oil and change it if necessary.

Listen closely and see if the noise is coming from the head, most likely it will be. If Lucas Oil Stabilizer (can be bought at almost any autoparts store) doesn't solve your problem. You can get a set of new lifters like the one here http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=1142& .

If its gona be rod knock, motor after 50miles dead,its coming from head probably
