Almost finished my evoIII install until this...

Had the radiator in and everything...went to bolt in the new 02...no go...stripped the threads on the way out...

Ordered a new 02 housing and senor since I stripped the new one goin in too

BTW they are both for sale now

ah sorry to hear that man I had that same problem when I installed my evo III, I hate gettin close to finishing an install, and gettin' screwed by somthing stupid! and then having to spend more money on it. good luck though , ttyl -Matt

I gave up and posted in the for sale and ordered a new 2G 02 housing and 02 sensor...some one else can heli whatever...I should have just welded the mofo on...

Im sure you could have just rigged up a strap to hold it- there pressure after the turbo is small compared to the pressure in the exhaust mani and thats how my EGT probe is held in.
