16G install question...

Can I hook up all the water and oil lines on to the turbo before I bolt it up to the block? I have the RRE install kit. Any other tips welcome too... Thanks!

check out the dsmfaq site it has a detailed install on the 16g install.

You can, but you may want to pull your radiator to give you some more room.

Don't you kinda have to? You can't reach the back of the turbo to bolt it up the center cartridge if you don't bolt it up first.

But yes you can put on the water lines before installing the turbo

Well it seems like I have a habit of putting stuff togeather and having to take it back apart because something won't fit etc...

Any thanks for reminding me about not renting out the o2 sensor socket from auto zone...that set me back 1 hour

I have a bunch of nuts and bolts from this install kit and I honestly don't know where the heck they go...Think I might be missing a banjo bolt too unless I reuse one of the t25's...

Think I need to replace the 02 sensor? I pulled the old one out yesterday and half the threads are striped bad... Will probably go in ok, but not sure what to do...dealers are closed for the next few days...dang it....I knew I should have forked over $100 for one Maybe AMS is open Saturday

Well had to call it a night, because I don't have a 11mm line wrench to take off the oil feed... My greatnecks line wrench skipped the 11 mm line wrench... anyone know of any stored open tomorrow?
