Does Mits put serial #'s on the end of there cams?

I was wondering if anybody has any stock cams lying around and could check if there is any numbers stamped on the ends oppisite of the sprocket side. I got a set of comp cams of ebay supposedly but they look an awful alot like stock cams and I'm trying to verifiy if they are legit. mine both have a 9 digit number stamped on them.

why dont you email comp cams and see it the numbers match up with any of theirs

You couldn't wait a day for a response.? You posted the same question twice in a single day, in the same forum ( http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157590 )... Honestly, learn some patience.

To answer your question. From two different 2g heads, my cams had no serial # on them. As already stated, why not call/email comp cams to find out. That would probably be the easiest solution.

I know I seem impatient and I'm sorry for that. I have contacted comp via email and phone. they haven't been the most helpful either and they themselves couldn't even give me a direct answer, that is why I made this post. I figured there's got to be a few people out here that could help verify what cams I have. I got ripped off a few months back thru trader and to top it off paypal didn't reimburse me backl. I'm just trying to figure everything out as quickly as possible to avoid being ripped off again.

my stock 1g intake cam has 106031706 and ex has 106031520 stamped on the end opposite of the gear. As far as I can recall, my comp cams had no stamped #'s there but did have an engraved # on the gear end.

thanks, that is what I was looking for. looks like I got stock instead of comp.
Now I just hope the seller makes everything right. at least I have a real name and address and phone number.
