20g on 2g

I was thinking about going with a 20g on a 2g. My question will the stock internels hold up to the challenge. With good tuning.

Judging by your mods list you should be fine. Throw on that 20G, race gas, and crank it up.

if you plan on going over 20psi regularly invest in the ARP Head Studs, i havent done it myself, but if you excede about 24lb you'll have fun with head gaskets needing replacement.

I have a 20g on my 2g, but it is really a built 1g motor, however, I'm thinking about going down w/ the greddy 18g. Too much lag for daily driver.

If your 20g is a TDO5 I doubt the 18 will be any better at all. And if its a true Greddy 18g the exhaust housing is even a bit larger than the 7cm you likely have on the 20g. If its a TDO6 20g then lag should get better. Otherwise I wouldnt bother. My TDO6 50 trim is fully spooled (25 psi) by 3500, and above that boost comes up very fast. I drive 600-1000 miles per week and have no complaints But it is a matter of personal taste...
