IM working on getting my car back together and am looking to get an intake manifold any suggestions thanks

U KNOW WHATS REALLY GOOD STUFF IS WWW.JMFABRICATION.COM HAS A GOOD MANI FOR 450...I OWN ONE AND ITS A BEAUT.... SO TAKE A LOOK AT THAT SITE HE ALSO HAS VELOCITY FOR SOME EXTRA MONEY 2....AND SRY BOUT CAPS I DIDNT RELIAZE IT WAS CAPS TILL THE END OF MY TYPING SO IM NOT FIXING IT LOL LATZ GUYS.... :dsm:

yea if u wanna pay 600 bucks.....this guy jmfab put down good numbers with this mani....hey if ur one of those people that like to spend all that money on a mani that says MAGNUS on it...go for it... but this guy is a serious welder all his crap was pressured tested to boost..well lets say... no one would ever see on this website... and plus it already comes polished for ..not an extra 100 bucks like some other brands...bjs and magnus (cough) .... :dsm:

if your upgrading intake manifolds, IMO the extrude honed 1g is a waste of money. Get a magnus, or if youd like to spend a little less, get 1 of jim's manifolds.

Yeah spending 150$ to get your current intake manifold worked over so it will support 450whp is a huge waste of money  . IMO a sheetmetal intake mani isnt needed until your revving high and making big power. If Im not mistaken there is a red gst ran by a sponsor that recently put down 600hp through a stock IM.

Of course if you dont have your OEM manifold it would be a waste to buy one and get it worked over. If you need a SMIM the Magnus, BJs, and Venom both looked very good in the test they ran awhile back.

i know the 1g intake manifold is more than enough for most. And outperforms most aftermarket intake manifolds in mid range power. But whos extrude honing intake manifolds for 150$? Thats cheapest ive ever seen. The extrude honing process IMO is a waste of money and overrated. If your only going to do that, save yourself the money and just run the stock intake manifold.

Just to point out, FFWD and RRE both want 375-385$ w/core exchange to do the process on an intake manifold, someone may be doign it for 150$, but ive never seen it done that cheap.
