New Motor... SBR Blocks?

So the mechanic I take my car to forgot to put the oil sensor clip back on and my oil pump died, and I starved my bottom half of my engine and well, its toast. In addition, the timing belt snapped at the bottom, but somehow not damaging the head. I have been looking at SBR's Stage II bottom end block. Was wondering if anyone has dealt with them for bottom end, or any kind of block work. Is there any other block they would recommend or a different dealer? I hate not having my car.... anything would be appreciative. -Nick

if anyone call them up. i called them a bunch of times and they are always willing to help out ( thanks craig ). He told me about the whole process of the motor and how reliable it is. one of my buddies runs their engine and he loves it, the 2.3 stroker and stage III head. 8.8:1 is a really good compression and will spool whatever you throw at it at pretty low rpm's. they also make a lot of torque.

I got just the stock block from them and it's great so far. Remember that it's a 6 bolt though so you'll need to get the swap parts separately or get the swap kit from Slowboy.

I've purchased their Stage II Block and Stage V Head along with many other parts. Mike the owner as well as all the other staff there are very helpful and are always willing to answer all your questions. Give them a buzz and I'm sure they can lead you in the right direction.
