Sup guys,

Well I posted about 3 weeks ago about my head gasket going. My Buddy and i finally finished it today and got everything put back together.

Went to the "zone" and got a new battery and started her up. She starts up fine, but cant stay on while at idle. i have to give it a little gas to keep it on.

not completely sure what the problem is.....we think it could be a possible vacuum leak, but i drove it around the block and got up to 3000 rpm and it ran fine, just shuts off if you let off the gas.

What i think it could be, but not completely sure is, when i blew my head gasket, i just got on my new turbo setup, and it was being tuned. Now i think that it may be my super afc settings that might be making it not wanna stay on during idle......i started messing with them and it started to idle fine....shut the car off and told my buddy, but then when i restarted it, it went back to its retarted ways.

So if you guys could help me out and tell me what you think, it would be much appreciated.

thanks alot guys

Couple things intake leak? BOV leak dump tube leak? MAF connecter whats it like? MAF its self combs removed or anything?

Did you check your base timing after having the head on and off? Anything could be causing it. What about plugs etc wires etc did you put new sparkplugs in your car? If you blew a head gasket chances are one of em ate some water.
